The Summerland Photography experience is designed to capture a collection of portraits which document this special and quickly changing time in your life. Sessions are scheduled with enough time to really focus on everyone’s unique personality. The result is a wonderful variety of candid images perfect for keepsake albums, printed coffee table books, and wall collections.
The session fee covers the time and talent of the photographer for your custom photography session as well as the editing of each image in preparation of your online gallery, your pre-session consultation, and in-home ordering session. The Session fee does not include prints, products, and digital negatives; these must be purchased separately. The session fee is due within seven days of booking your photography session.

Summerland Custom Portrait Session – $170
A custom on-location lifestyle session.
Session fee includes:
- One to two hours at the location of your choice
- Sessions are for 1 -2 people ($40 for each additional person)
- Session planning and style consultation
- Private online gallery of your custom session
- In-home ordering session
The Newborn Session – $300
A custom on-location session with your new bundle of joy! Parents and siblings are welcome to join this session at no additional charge. It is strongly recommended that you reserve your newborn session while you are still pregnant to ensure your baby will be photographed within ten days of birth.
Session fee includes:
- One to four hours at the location of your choice
- Your newborn baby (two weeks old or less, six to ten days is preferable) and immediate family members (parents and siblings)
- Session planning and style consultation
- Private online gallery of your custom session
- In-home ordering session
- Twenty five premium baby announcements ($75 value)
The Maternity Session – $170
A custom on-location session that beautifully shows your pregnancy.
Session fee includes:
- One to two hours at the location of your choice
- Your gorgeous baby bump (scheduled during your last trimester) and immediate family (spouse/partner and children)
- Session planning and style consultation
- Private online gallery of your custom session
- In-home ordering session
New Beginnings Package – $400
Book both a Maternity and a Newborn Session and save! Spouse and siblings are welcome to join these sessions at no additional charge.
Session fee includes:
- Two portrait sessions: your maternity session in your last trimester and your newborn session before your baby is 2 weeks of age.
- Each session at the location of your choice
- Session planning and style consultation
- Private online gallery of your custom session
- In-home ordering session
- Twenty five premium baby announcements ($75 value)
The Benchmark Package – $360
Children grow like weeds. Documenting their progress twice a year lets you capture their childhood. By booking two sessions, you save money, and get your holiday cards taken care of! Both sessions must be photographed within a 12-month-period.
Session fee includes:
- Two portrait sessions
- Sessions are for 1 -2 people per session ($40 for each additional person)
- Each session at the location of your choice
- Session planning and style consultation
- Private online galleries of your custom sessions
- Two in-home ordering sessions
- Twenty five premium holiday cards ($75 value)
The Milestone Package – $1200
The first year of your baby’s life will go so quickly. This premium package will document that momentous first year with candid and beautiful photos you will treasure forever. This special collection is destined to become a family heirloom. Want to get the before along with the after? Add a maternity session to this package for only a $100.
Session fee includes:
- Your newborn baby (two weeks old or less, six to ten days is preferable) and immediate family members (parents and siblings) at the location of your choice.
- Three sessions at four, eight, and twelve months of age at the locations of your choice.
- Planning and style consultation for each photo session
- Private online gallery of your custom sessions
- In-home ordering session for each photo shoot
- Twenty five premium baby announcements ($75 value)
- Thirty of your favorite images from that year in a premium 8×8, flush mounted, twelve-page album. ($750 value)
Senior Portrait Session – $200
If you’re looking for a fun and fearless way to show off your personality, pick someone who is a trained photojournalist. No more boring studio portraits. Sure we’ll get the ones that will make mom happy, but you’ll never see a photograph where someone’s hand is propping up their head or holding their collar. No tacky painted backdrops here! What you will see is awesome light, crazy locations, and a photo shoot tailored just for you. At Summerland Photography you are not just another Senior portrait.

Session fee includes:
- One to Two hours at the location of your choice
- Unlimited image capture
- Unlimited outfit changes
- Session planning and style consultation
- On-location professional hair and makeup
- Private online proofing account
- In-home ordering session
Details
All session fees are required to hold a scheduled date.
Sessions are available Tuesday through Saturday. We recommend you schedule your session at least four weeks in advance. The earlier you schedule, the better chance you will book the date you want. Weekends book up much faster than week days.
All session fees are non-refundable but may be applied to a future session if a reschedule is needed when 48 hours advance notice is given. We understand that children sometimes get sick and are happy to reschedule your session due to illness.
Finished portraits and products must be paid at the time of your order. While I will make every effort to ensure your complete happiness and satisfaction with your portraits, due to the unique nature of custom portraiture, all sales are final.
Rates are subject to Washington State and local sales tax. Rates may be changed at any time and without notice.
